Pengaruh Teknik Self Regulated Learning Terhadap Perilaku Prokrastinasi Akademik PadaSiswa Kelas VIII di SMPN 3 Mataram

Academic procrastination is an inefficient behavior in using time, characterized by a tendency to delay the start of academic tasks. The objective of this study is to determine the influence of self-regulated learning techniques on academic procrastination behavior. Data collection methods used were questionnaires as the primary method, supplemented by observation, interviews, and documentation. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling. The population of this study consisted of 147 students, with a focus on 8th grade students at SMPN 3 Mataram. The sample used to obtain data consisted of 10 students with high academic procrastination scores. Data analysis was conducted using the t-test formula. Based on the analysis, the obtained t-value was 5.218. Then, consulting the t-value in the table with degrees of freedom (N-1) = 10-1 = 9 and a significance level of 5% = 2.262, it was found that the calculated t-value (5.218) is greater than the tabulated t-value (5.218 > 2.262). Therefore, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted at a 5% significance level, indicating that this study is “significant.”
